Hey! I'm Gaurangi - founder of Gauri Glow. I didn't create this brand to add more products to your skin or haircare shelf. I created it to simplify it because I believe if done the pure and right way, "less is more." At Gauri Glow, we travel to the source - coastal coconuts, Kashmiri kesar, Rajasthani almonds, aloe, pure goldflakes and carefully handpicked botanicals from the heartlands of India which we lovingly formulate, test, distil and design to nourish your skin & hair. The application rituals are designed in a way to combine science, traditional wisdom and modern day efficacy.
For most of my life, I was known for my academic credentials and ambition - an ISC national topper, SRCC graduate, university gold medalist and civil services aspirant. But beyond all of this, there was another lesser explored side of me: possessing a deep love for beauty, creativity, thoughtful rituals and entrepreneurship.
Growing up, some of my fondest memories were simple acts of care. Coconut oil champi, rose infused remedies, a potpourri of the right ingredients from the garden blended the right way & the belief that nature knows best.
When I fell extremely sick for a year, I craved nourishment for my body, skin and hair and I began returning to the traditional wisdom that gentle trumps trendy. After a year of research, forumlation, testing and concretizing things - I have tried to create something that enables you to experience emotionally relieving beauty via GG. From the colours, visuals, packaging to the application process - each step is intended to invoke a feeling of nostalgia, connection and comfort.
